Hi book pals,
We’re halfway through the year. I keep getting emails saying things like, “can you believe it’s already July?” And, frankly, I can. This year has felt long. A lot has happened. On the plus side, that includes some great reading.
Let’s check in.
Reading Stats
So far, I’ve finished 37 books in 2025. That’s 13,479 pages! It’s also on par with my average reading pace. I tend to read somewhere between 60 - 80 books a year.
Of those:
34 (92%) were fiction
23 (62%) were ebooks, 10 (27%) were physical books, and 4 (11%) were audiobooks
33 (89%) were by female authors
10 (27%) were debuts
29 (78%) were 2025 new releases
My most popular genres were: romance (24%), literary fiction (22%), and contemporary fiction (19%)
