Hello,

I’m just back from 6 days in Rome! I’m stuffed full of pasta, gelato, delicious wine, and good cheer and have so many things to tell you about!

I went with two newer friends, and we framed it as a “pilot trip” to see how we work as travel buddies (happy to report the trip was a smashing success!). We picked Rome because we were looking for an easy direct flight from NYC, and eliminated quite a few places based on (1) weather and (2) places any of us had been recently-ish.

Also, so many people with taste I trust have been taking extended or repeated trips to Rome—my friend

And after spending 6-days there, I get it. It's a friendly, happy city full of great food and even after almost a week, it felt like we hadn’t scratched the surface.
