Really enjoyed this interview! I’m excited for all of them, and agree that Erin Foster might be the next big romance screenwriter of our gen (too much to say too quickly??) - and obvi that’ll be tested in season 2 with her (hopefully) updated depiction of Jewish women.
Anyways, I also wanted to say that I really love this more niche area you’ve gone into with your Substack: where Books meet the Screen. I always appreciate your updates, your hot takes on them, and walk away feeling really informed (without having to go to entertainment / gossip sites for news). Thank you for doing the work!
I'm also curious about Dolly Alderton who is doing the new Pride & Prejudice TV series that was announced. I didn't love Everything I Know About Love (the TV show), but love her voice in her novels and would be so curious to see her do something contemporary and perhaps something that is original and not based on one of her own books.
And so glad you're loving the book-to-screen focus! It's always something I've been excited about, so thrilled to chat about the haps here.
Oooo would love to read a Dolly interview! Saw her in Edinburgh at the Book Fest and she just made everyone in the audience feel like we were all just really good pals with her. But yeah, it’ll be interesting to see the new Pride & Prejudice and what she does with it!
This has me really excited to watch Nobody Wants This, which clearly everyone actually wants. I loooooved Adam Brody in the OC, had such a crush on Seth Cohen 😊
Becca!!! It was a delight to connect with you and I am beyond thrilled to read our chat on Book Enthusiast! Yours in excessive exclamation points, EC
What Erin loves, I love! Have now subscribed to your newsletter!
I'm honored! Welcome!

Describing the feeling about Nobody Wants This as feral is spot on! 😆
I watched it twice the week it came out and have considered starting it again multiple times. I am just obsessed with how great it was!
You are one of many people I know who has watched more than once. I get it!!!
Amelia from Chicken Shop would like a word about your AG-FP shipping.
