I'm going to an author talk at Book Club Bar for We Love the Nightlife + have been SO excited for it! Also, The Pairing. Anything Casey McQuiston does, I'm in.
I read 9 books in July (really close to finishing Babel so I could make it 10!) one was an ARC of Hate Follow (by Erin Quinn-Kong coming 10/8!) that I truly enjoyed. In conjunction with Olivia’s book, I am definitely paying attention to where the family blogger conversation goes in the near future
I also read an old book, The Water is Wide by Pat Conroy, because of a disagreement about white male authors with my husband 😂 it was not bad but I did become fixated on trying to figure out what was a true story from his past and what was narrative fiction flare
I just finished One Star Romance this weekend and cannot wait to hear the book club episode on BoP. Thank you so much for the recommendation, it was beyond my expectations (I didn't have tissue close enough at hand about 3/4 through the book!)
A Thursday Murder Club series?! Im so excited! I’m also a bit of a fraidy cat (especially because I mainly read before bed), but have really been loving cozy murder mysteries like these lately. Hoping they bring it to screen with some Only Murders In The Building vibes 🤞🏼
I adore Glynnis MacNicol's writing! I read I'm Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself this month and it was a fun prequel to now watching the Paris Olympics. I highly recommend her Becoming a Baker, a short and sweet (pun intended) read taking place mostly in a NYC bakery.

I'm so glad you read Never Let Me Go, even if you didn't love it. I STILL can't stop thinking about it!!!
Love the screen adaptations section! So many good ones
Oh I'm so glad. It's one of my favorite things to put together.
I think the Long, Bright River adaptation may be done filming, so hoping to get that one sooner rather than later. Love a Philly set story!
I just finished reading One Star Romance, so I’m delighted that it is the August book club pick. I loved it!!

I’m so excited about all these film adaptations! So many good ones!!
I've read Jodi Picoult's upcoming release and LOVED it. As with most of her books it really made you think and was fascinating.
I know she is the QUEEN of research, so that makes me even more interested in the historical timeline piece.
I was blown away by this theory behind Shakespeare’s work!

I'm so glad you loved it, too!
I need these Emily Henry adaptations more than I need air or water
I LOVED I hope this finds you well and hope more people read it!
Love this series, I can never keep up with all the releases and adaptation news. So thank you! 😊
So happy about all the movies and series coming up. Nothing to watch lately!
I've been meaning to read I hope this finds you well!
