I have the Anthro rainbow stone one and I wear it with so many things! Fun but polished :) I just bought the Etsy milky blue one *obsessively checks tracking*
I’m going to look for an old necklace that I bought years ago in Italy, it’s made of very colorful Venetian glass beads. It’s buried somewhere in my old jewelry case and would be a lovely summer accessory!
I got WAY deep into shopping for rondelle beads on Beads Inc on Saturday, but eventually scrapped it because you have to buy the strands individually and I couldn't find a good kit. But I might go back to this idea.
Ugh I know… I bought probably 15 individual strands at Michael’s & midtown bead stores. But Michael’s is having sales on all the strands so if you don’t mind a little bit of work I’d recommend getting them (they’re so cheap)
I got a rondelle bead kit from beads inc. a few years ago for 60 or so bucks and it has been so fun to make necklaces and bracelets for myself and friends! I even made a bracelet, wore it for a while, didn’t like the fit and reused the beads for a different project, so highly recommend.
I just bought my daughter a bead kit from Super Smalls (via Emily’s must read Feed Me) and have been debating asking her to make me a necklace. Motivation secured!
My 11 year old has been making me bracelets and necklaces all summer. I teach middle school and my students make them for meso she is trying to catch up. Maybe I should suggest she start a cottage business.
We were at Michaels earlier and TONS of beads - we ran out of Super Smalls!
Honestly, she could make a tidy profit, I bet! When I was 11(ish), my best friend and I tried so hard to sell the embroidery floss friendship bracelets we made and—of course—there was no market. So, this feels incredibly aspirational to me!
Couldn’t resist the Local Eclectic one you shared and it just got delivered today - I’m obsessed. Might have to pick up some bead kits to make some more budget friendly ones!
I totally agree re: summer camp jewelry, and I feel like that is personally the vibe of what I want for this summer: time off my phone, with friends, being outside, simple joys.
Yes!! I’ve been shopping for something like this as well and I saw on Eliou they had a necklace named the Vivi necklace, which is my daughters nickname I took it as a sign. I get so many compliments
these are all so pretty! glad you included ones from the bargain bin because I'll head right there...
Nothing wrong with that!
These are fun! 🍬🍬
Don’t know how I missed this trend but I am here for it!
Having a heavy regression summer. We're all 10. It's giving summer camp and I am here for it.

What a cute duo this will be!
Thank you for sharing this; love the trend. Heading to my craft closet to explore possibilities...

Ooooh, sounds pretty!
Oooh - I'm so excited that this trend is back so I can pull my beaded necklaces out that I made years ago - and maybe make new ones!
It always shocks me how cyclical trends are! This feels much more exciting to make a comeback than low-rise jeans.
I LOVE these necklaces. They are chic but also make me feel like I’m 5.
I know, I feel like that's the vibe this summer! Taking things a little less seriously. Being outside. Playing with our friends. Having big fun!
Love this energy 💫
💯💯💯
I love this! I just spent an unnecessary amount of money on beads to make these for myself… they’re so easy and fun to make!

This honestly feels dangerous for me to know.

UGH I WANT THIS SO BADLY AND IT IS OUT OF STOCK. Feeling some serious FOMO right now.
Love it

FOR SURE. Can't wait to see how it comes out.

Oh I'm so glad you like it!!
So many great Etsy options too. I think of this as summer camp jewelry. Love it.

Oh that's really pretty, too. I'm so into this trend for all of us!
I've just bought the tuckernut pearl necklace, so my ambition to shop less also leaves something to be desired!
I mean, it's such a steal and so cute. I would have bought it in a heartbeat if there was a longer size
