Honestly, if someone came up to me at the pool and asked if I was liking my book so far, I'd have a blast!! Lol

My 60-something year old boss is reading Book Lovers after having just read GBBL! She’s a newly minted EmHen fan!

Sunday Sundries is the first thing I read when I hit my desk on Monday mornings! It’s the best way to kick off the week ❤️

I think this may be old news (longtime listener, new newsletter subscriber) but Becca I LOVE this haircut on you! Very fun. I will also need outfit deets for everyone in the group pic, what a chic spread!

Thank you re: the hair! Not sure outfit deets on friends are forthcoming, but if helpful, my dress is from Mister Zimi.

Becca, your Sunday Sundries has bee-bopped its way to the top of my things-I-look forward-to-every-week list! I usually save it for the very end of my Sunday nights as a cheerful read before going to bed! I really really enjoy it all!

Annabel, I frankly have a bone to pick with you because I stayed up way later than intended because I NEEEDED these two fake people to kiss (and then kiss again for real).

Pick that bone Becca, because some days fake people kissing is all we have!! (So so happy you're reading)

My hunch is that the Elin sized hole will be filled by someone that has closed door scenic books. I ADORE Carley and Annabel but they may be a smidge racy for the older generation.

Then again they’re from the Fabio

Cover era so who knows!

I just spent a week on vacation and did similar book snooping. The most interesting one to report on was a woman reading the paperback edition of Tower of Dawn. (For those uninitiated, the 6th book in Sarah J Maas’ Throne of Glass series, and it’s a chunker).

Ugh she must have been so annoyed to discover this was the Chaol book.

Ok but do we now also need to know about your nighttime mascara?! Adding those 2 daytime recs to my to-try list, I’m down bad in the mascara dept with some recent fails.

I'm in a two-decade long committed relationship with DiorShow. My hack is that sometimes for the first layer, I use the brush from one of the daytime mascaras to get more separation.

That *is* an odd selection of books but I do feel like a) the Barbra Streisand memoir makes sense and b) Andre Agassi's memoir is weirdly one of my favorite books of all time.

Andre Agassi's was the only one I truly said, YES, this makes sense to me. It's also a big tennis resort, so totally tracks. Barbara kind of makes sense clientele-wise, but who is taking down a 992-page book on a beach vacation?! The audiobook is something wild like 28 hours? Like, it is not a breezy read.

I *still* occasionally hear Barbra’s voice in my own head as my narrator because of this audiobook!!! I would not want it anywhere near a beach or pool
